Operating standards
Controls that exist and are used
Correllatn measures against the National Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness 2025, published by NHS England. Not as an accreditation, which it is not, but as the framework a practice already expects its cleaning to be judged by.
Some things are not scored
Colour coding, chemical labelling, a locked cupboard, waste segregation, protective equipment, premises secured. A 95% inspection with an unlocked chemical cupboard is not a pass.
Failures carry a reason and a date
Every failed element is recorded with why it failed and when it will be put right. An action that slips twice becomes an issue in its own right.
